ProphetX Strengthens Leadership with Key Executive Appointments

ProphetX, a leading sports prediction market in America, has announced three key appointments to its senior leadership team. The company has appointed Damon Mercadante as Vice President of Growth Marketing, Nathan Busscher as Chief Product Officer, and Jesse Wachtel as Chief Financial Officer.

Damon Mercadante brings a wealth of experience to his new role, holding a BA in Biology from Yale University and an MBA from The Wharton School. He previously served as VP of Growth Marketing at Sleeper, one of the fastest-growing sports and fantasy apps in the U.S., and as VP of Marketing for Streaming Services at Paramount.

Nathan Busscher, the new Chief Product Officer, has over two decades of experience and holds an International MBA from the University of South Carolina and a BSBA from the University of West Florida. His background includes senior leadership roles at companies such as FNZ Securities, Click Capital Markets, TradeStation, and Altruist Financial.

Jesse Wachtel, who will serve as Chief Financial Officer, has a BS in Entrepreneurship from the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business. He brings significant experience in B2B software and the online gambling vertical, and has successfully worked alongside investors, founders, and operators.
