Polymarket User Bets Big on Putin's Exit by Year's End

A user on Polymarket has placed a significant bet that Vladimir Putin will no longer be the leader of Russia by December 31, 2023. The trader, known by the username ZnotluvuiSamez, has wagered £306,000 ($408,000) on this prediction.

Other Bets Related to Russia-Ukraine Conflict

ZnotluvuiSamez has also made other trades related to the Russia-Ukraine conflict. The trader has placed a $60,000 bet on Ukraine retaking the Crimea region by Dec 31 and a $5,000 bet on Ukraine signing a peace agreement with Russia by Aug 31.

Putin has been in power since 1999, but his popularity has declined recently due to the ongoing invasion of Ukraine and struggles to retake the former Soviet client state. Ukraine has conducted several high-profile attacks deep into Russian territory, including a major drone strike on Moscow.

I've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
