Poker Hand Analysis: Nikita favourable and Vladimir NeNaZavode Discuss NL20 Play
Poker player Nikita favourable recently shared an analysis of a hand from the NL20 level. The hand was part of his diary “Слабоумие и отвага. нл5” and was later commented on by trainer Vladimir NeNaZavode from GreenLine.
Preflop, Nikita favourable considered 3-betting but decided against it due to the opponent's low raise and fold to 3-bet. On the flop, the opponent bet half the pot, and Nikita favourable raised, aiming to push out weaker hands. He noted that his hand had a straight draw and a backdoor flush draw, and he estimated that the opponent would frequently bet in this spot.
On the turn, Nikita favourable bet the pot, aiming to push out hands worse than Jx, estimating fold equity at 50-60%. He mentioned that an overbet of 120% could also be effective but chose the pot-sized bet. On the river, Nikita favourable did not attempt a bluff due to the poor runout and the opponent's likely strong range.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
