KasinoKrime Shares Secrets for Playing PLO at Low Stakes

KasinoKrime discusses the optimal size of opening raises on the preflop and flop in Pot Limit Omaha (PLO).

KasinoKrime advises to adjust bet sizing based on the type of players at the table and the effective stack size. On loose tables, it is preferable to narrow your range and increase the size of the raise, while on tight tables, open more often but with a smaller size. With short stacks, the size of the raise from all positions should be reduced to maintain some depth for postflop play and to avoid calling 3-bet short stacks with a weak hand.

KasinoKrime recommends increasing the size of raises when playing against weak or loose players on the blinds. This is because the main profit comes from their check-folds on the postflop and winning large pots with better hands. KasinoKrime suggests that with an effective stack of 100 BB from the first two positions, a full bank raise is usually made. The reasons for this include reducing the likelihood of other players participating in the hand and trying to steal the position from the remaining players, especially when there are weak players on the blinds.

I've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
