ICMIZER Q Update Introduces FGS for Better Tournament Poker Calculations
ICMIZER Q, the developer of ICMIZER, released an update with the FGS (Future Game Simulations) feature. FGS stands for Future Game Simulations, which translates to "modeling future hands" in Russian.
FGS addresses issues in the traditional ICM model by considering additional parameters such as blind sizes and player positions. The traditional ICM model, known as ICM Malmuth-Harville, only considers the stacks of players and the tournament payout structure, ignoring important factors like blind sizes and player positions.
The FGS model provides more accurate calculations for tournament poker, especially in situations involving short stacks and future blind payments. This update includes new operations for FGS calculations and optimized performance with cloud-based computations. The update is internally named "FGS 1.0" and is designed to enhance the user experience by providing more reliable and precise results.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
