Fedor Holz and Viktor Blom to Battle in High-Stakes Poker Match
Poker enthusiasts are in for a treat as Fedor Holz and Viktor Blom prepare to battle in a heads-up match on GG Poker. The match was initially proposed by Viktor Blom in a podcast with Joe Ingram, where he offered to play against Fedor Holz under various conditions, including playing while drunk.
Fedor Holz accepted the challenge, stating he will be playing from home for the next 3-4 weeks. The match will consist of four sessions, each lasting five hours. Viktor Blom will be playing while drinking alcohol, adding an extra layer of excitement to the event.
The first session will be commented on by Mikhail Semin and Mikhail Shalamov for the Russian audience. The match is set to begin on March 5th at 9:00 PM Moscow time, with subsequent sessions on March 8th, 10th, and 12th. Doug Polk, a prominent figure in the poker community, commented on the match, calling Fedor Holz weak in heads-up and Viktor Blom overrated.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
