Maniac in poker
Definition
An extremely loose and aggressive player who bets and raises with almost any hand.
Maniacs inflate pots and create big swings. The usual way to play against them is to tighten up your range, call down with medium-strength hands and let them bluff off their chips.
A tilting player can temporarily become a maniac.
