Poker Pro Ziigmund's Dramatic Move and Epic Feuds with Gus Hansen

Poker player Iliari 'Ziigmund' Sakhamis has made a significant move in his career. From October 2010, he lost $3.4 million in high-stakes games on Full Tilt. In early March, he announced his transition to PokerStars, citing a preference for the new platform's environment and the presence of notable players like Izildur.

Sakhamis highlighted that PokerStars offers excellent tables with a maximum buy-in of 250BB, and many players join with stacks of $12,500. He also mentioned the absence of short stacks, which he found appealing. His future on Full Tilt remains uncertain, leaving fans to reminisce about his wild sessions and memorable conversations with opponents.

One of Sakhamis' most notable interactions is with Gus Hansen. Their exchanges are filled with heated moments. In one instance, Sakhamis asked Hansen to confirm he would stay for another 6 minutes during a game, leading to a series of back-and-forth messages. Another discussion involved ending a match early, where Sakhamis expressed his displeasure and Hansen remained indifferent. Sakhamis even suggested that Hansen should perform at the Eurovision Song Contest, adding a humorous twist to their banter. Despite their frequent clashes, Sakhamis prefers playing head-to-head with Hansen rather than with a third player. Hansen, on occasion, has shown concern for Sakhamis' financial well-being, indicating a deeper connection beneath their public feuds. Sakhamis attributes the influence on his poker career to Hansen starting to play poker, highlighting their complex relationship.
