Winamax Blocks Ambassador Ivan Deyra for Multi-Accounting
Winamax, a prominent European poker room, has terminated its contract with ambassador Ivan Deyra due to multi-accounting. Deyra, a French-British poker player and WSOP bracelet winner, has been an ambassador for Winamax for several years. The poker room is primarily focused on French players.
Deyra's multi-accounting activities were discovered when other players noticed unusual behavior. Deyra's official account, ValueMerguez, was inactive during the Winamax Series. Meanwhile, his father's account, MATIVANAO, which previously only played low-stakes games, suddenly became active and won over 83,300€ in a super high roller tournament.
After players provided evidence, Winamax's security service analyzed both accounts and blocked them. Deyra admitted to multi-accounting, stating that many players on Winamax know his nickname and collect statistics on it. Despite his explanation, Deyra lost his contract with Winamax and his reputation.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
