William Kassouf's Epic Poker Adventures in the USA
William Kassouf's recent poker tour in the USA was filled with dramatic moments, including a notable slow roll and interactions with fellow players.
Poker After Dark and WPT Legends of Poker
Kassouf finished in 3rd place on Poker After Dark, where he made enough noise to fill several seasons. Jean-Robert Bellande even offered $1,000 to any player who could eliminate Kassouf, but this only fueled Kassouf's performance. The episodes of Poker After Dark are available on PokerGo for $10 a month.
From Las Vegas, Kassouf headed to Los Angeles, where he made it to the prize pool in the main tournament of WPT Legends of Poker. He also participated in the television cash game Live at the Bike with blinds of $5/$5. Although the game wasn't highly publicized, Kassouf's performance was impressive.
The Slow Roll
In one of the hands, Kassouf had a pair of sixes and caught a flop of 8c 6c 6d. His opponent, Derek, had pocket eights. Kassouf, known for his dramatic style, engaged in a slow roll, asking for advice from other players and even discussing the distance to Hollywood. The hand ended with Kassouf's slow roll being praised as the best in history, although Derek seemed unimpressed.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
