Virtue Poker: The Cryptocurrency Poker Room Set to Revolutionize the Game
Virtue Poker, a cryptocurrency poker room based on Ethereum, is set to launch its mainnet in May 2023. Founded in 2016, the platform has been under development and beta testing for the past five years. The team behind Virtue Poker has recently secured $5,000,000 to support this launch.
Virtue Poker has obtained a gaming services license from the Malta Gaming Authority, positioning itself as the first blockchain-based company to hold such a license. Ryan Gittleson, the CEO of Virtue Poker, expressed his confidence in the platform's ability to compete with top poker rooms and promote cryptocurrency in poker.
The Virtue Poker team boasts an impressive lineup of industry veterans, including the former director of marketing for PokerStars, the former CEO of PokerStrategy, and poker legend Phil Ivey. Alongside Dan Colman and Brian Rast, these professionals bring a combined total of fifteen WSOP bracelets and over $70 million in winnings to the Virtue Poker team. Phil Ivey, who has been involved with the project for nearly three years, is optimistic about the platform's potential. The launch will be celebrated with an exhibition tournament featuring Phil Ivey and other Virtue Poker Team professionals.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
