Triton Poker Jeju: Chan and Cowen Win Big in Pot-Limit Omaha Events

The 2026 Triton Super High Roller Series Jeju concluded with a massive payout of over $107.2 million across 20 events. The final days were highlighted by intense pot-limit Omaha action, including the $25,000 PLO six-max event won by Wai Leong Chan, who earned $387,000. This victory marked Chan's first Triton title, adding to his nearly $17.2 million in career tournament earnings.

Chan's journey to the top was not without challenges. He overcame a stacked final table that included notable players like Ben Tollerene, Philip Sternheimer, and Paul Phua. Chan's previous highest Triton earnings came from finishing as the runner-up in a $2,000,000 HKD (~$255,000 USD) buy-in event in Jeju back in 2018, for $3.2 million, and second again in the 2024 Triton Monte Carlo $125,000 event for nearly $3 million.

Another significant win came from Robert Cowen, who secured the $30,000 PLO turbo bounty quattro tournament. Cowen took home a total of $622,000, including $380,000 in bounty payouts. His victory added to his impressive career earnings, which now stand at nearly $6.9 million. Cowen's final table included high-stakes regulars like Ben Tollerene, Punnat Punsri, Lautaro Guerra, Jason Koon, and Stephen Chidwick. Stephen Chidwick finished as the runner-up, earning $175,000, bringing his total career earnings to over $77.9 million. Jason Koon earned $112,000 for his third-place finish, with $72.7 million in career cashes.
