Top 10 Bizarre Moments in TV Poker History
Poker is a game of complex situations, constant nervous tension, serious decisions, and psychological trials. It requires maximum moral and physical effort, and one of the main rules of offline play is the ability to keep a straight face. This is why viewers and players themselves enjoy it when something goes wrong and appreciate non-standard situations that occur at the table.
Here are ten of the most humorous and bizarre moments in the history of TV poker.
1. 'Bulldozer!' The top spot goes to American professional player Hevad Khan, who was in an excellent mood during the WSOP-2007. He danced, shouted, sang, and actively encouraged others to sing with him. When he collected a set of queens, he added high jumps to his arsenal, but the most intense reaction accompanied his standing aces. Thanks to two won all-ins, we learned how Hevad's signature cry sounds and how to dance a victory dance with a chair. The faces of Hevad's opponents showed either polite bewilderment or a hidden smile. 'He's hard to love, but hard to hate,' the commentator summed up. Hevad made it to the money in two tournaments and took 6th place in the main event, but he won't be able to repeat the auristic trick—a year later, the organizers reasonably introduced the 'Hevad Khan Rule,' prohibiting players from expressing their emotions so violently.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
