Tom Dwan Leads High-Stakes Poker Action in NL 2-7 Games
Tom Dwan returned to online poker and started playing NL 2-7 with triple draw. He played PLO $300/600 against Ben 'Ben86/bttech86' Tollerene for 3,000 hands, but Ben won $500,000 after 18 hours of play.
Tom Dwan won $1,267,924 playing NL 2-7 $200/400 against several high-stakes players, including Ben 'Sauce1234' Sulsky, who lost $622,721, the most of any player during the session. Other notable losers included punting-peddler, who lost $313,056, trex313, who lost $301,359, and patpatpanda, who lost $254,664.
Tom Dwan and Phil 'OMGClayAiken' Galfond played an unusual hand where they went all-in after the first draw and changed only one card on the third draw. Tom Dwan requested FTP to add NL 2-7 $150/300 with ante and $250/500 with ante tables, showing his enthusiasm for the game.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
