Thomas Kremser Leaves EPT After Seven Years, New Director Sought
Thomas Kremser and his company TK Poker Events announced the end of their collaboration with the European Poker Tour (EPT). Kremser has been the executive tournament director for all EPT events since the first season. Kremser mentioned a 'seven-year itch' and hinted at legal issues faced by PokerStars, the organizer of EPT. Thomas Kremser thanked all participants of the first seven seasons of EPT and the casinos where the tournaments were held.
Kremser expressed gratitude to Isai Scheinberg, the owner of PokerStars, for his foresight in initiating the long-term collaboration. He stated that working on EPT was 'the best time of his life'.
Thomas Kremser's wife, Marina, was involved in a memorable incident during an EPT event in Berlin in 2010. The first stage of the eighth season of EPT is scheduled to take place in early August, possibly in Tallinn. The second stage of the eighth season of EPT will return to Barcelona, scheduled for late August or early September.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
