Talal Shakerchi Wins Triton Poker Vietnam Main Event
Talal Shakerchi, known by his poker nickname 'Raidalot,' stunned the poker world by winning the Triton Poker Vietnam Main Event, taking home $3,250,000. Shakerchi was one of 135 entries (90 unique players) to pay $100,000 apiece for a shot at the flagship title in the Triton Poker Super High Roller stop in Vietnam. That meant a prizepool of $13,500,000 waiting to be shared out to the top 20 finishers, with the likes of Fedor Holz, Bryn Kenney, Sam Greenwood, Wiktor Malinowski, and Kahle Burns.
Kahle Burns was the bubble boy, eliminated by Talal Shakerchi. Michael Soyza finished second, earning $2,207,000. Daniel Smiljkovic finished third, earning $1,450,000. Fedor Holz was eliminated in 5th spot by Daniel Smiljkovic.
Shakerchi insisted he was far from a professional: “Don’t start moving me into the other zone. I’m not a professional player. I spend quite a lot of time playing poker. It’s my main hobby. But I’m definitely not a pro.”

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
