Spanish Players Struggle in Deauville Poker Tournament
The Deauville poker tournament has seen a significant reduction in Spanish players. Ana Márquez and Raúl Páez are the only Spanish players left in the tournament, both with very few chips.
Larrabe and tornako were eliminated on Day 2 of the tournament after starting with very few chips. They hoped for a good hand to improve their position but were unlucky. Adrián Mateos, known as Amadi_17, was also eliminated despite starting with a high number of points.
In other poker news, PokerStars has launched a beta version of PokerStarsNet, a play money poker app on Facebook. This new app offers various game modes including cash games, sit & go's, multi-table tournaments, and even Zoom Poker. The app is expected to compete with Zynga, the current leader in play money poker rooms.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
