Sergey Rybachenko and Vyacheslav Zhukov Share WSOP Experiences

Russian poker players Sergey Rybachenko and Vyacheslav Zhukov recently shared their experiences and observations from the World Series of Poker (WSOP) in Las Vegas. Rybachenko mentioned that he did not experience any issues with acclimatization in Las Vegas.

One of the major issues Rybachenko highlighted was the Colossus tournament, which caused significant problems with prize payouts due to long queues. He noted that the organizers seemed to focus more on getting as many people into the tournament as possible rather than ensuring smooth prize payouts.

Rybachenko played four tournaments at the WSOP but did not make it to the money in any of them. He expressed his frustration with the 2-7 tournament, where he was eliminated early. He mentioned that Pol Wolpe quickly built a large stack in this tournament, which he attributed more to luck than skill. Rybachenko also noted that he planned to skip the pot-limit hold'em tournament the next day to play in the razz tournament instead, as he has missed it in previous years due to progressing far in other tournaments.
