Scott Palmer: From Poker Pro to StarCraft Enthusiast
Scott Palmer, known by the usernames urnotindangr and UrnotINdanger2, was considered one of the strongest players at high stakes before the Black Friday shutdown. Palmer experienced a significant downswing in March 2011, losing a considerable amount of money in high-stakes games on FTP.
After the Black Friday shutdown, Palmer primarily resides in the USA and occasionally travels to Canada for poker games. He has taken up playing StarCraft 2, a game popular in South Korea, which keeps him up late at night. Palmer mentioned that he enjoys competing and winning more than the money in both poker and StarCraft 2.
Palmer finds it difficult to improve his skills in poker due to the variance, but in StarCraft 2, he can analyze his mistakes more clearly. He thinks that the high-stakes poker games have changed significantly since the Black Friday shutdown.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
