Rocknrolla's Poker Journey: 4 Months, 3 Losing Sessions, and a Lot of Wins

Rocknrolla, a prominent poker player, started his blog on the GipsyTeam forum in April 2023. His journey in online poker has been marked by consistent profitability, with only 3 losing sessions in the past 4 months. Rocknrolla began playing poker seriously in August 2020, starting at the NL50 level.

Rocknrolla's learning process involved watching streams from players like Mikhail Semin, Sergey Rybachenko, and others. He learned by observing their strategies and applying them to his own game. His strategy involves playing multiple tables simultaneously and focusing on racking up rakeback, which has allowed him to climb the stakes quickly.

Rocknrolla recommends using tools like GTO Wizard for preflop charts and understanding the tendencies of the field. He believes that while GTO is important, adapting to the specific tendencies of the players at the table is crucial for success. His approach has led to a unique playing style that often involves unconventional moves, such as checking back with a full house.
