Poker-Red's 2020 Recap: Key Events and Highlights
As 2020 comes to a close, Poker-Red has summarized the year's key events. Here are the highlights:
Josep Hebert won the Main Event domestic tournament, but the heads-up match against Damian Salas has been postponed. The Argentine player could not travel to Las Vegas for the final heads-up due to travel restrictions imposed by the United States on European residents and those who have recently been in Europe.
In another significant event, Doug Polk leads Daniel Negreanu by $770,254 after 12,500 hands in their high-stakes heads-up battle. Negreanu has the option to retire at this point or continue until 25,000 hands, but he has not made a decision yet.
Additionally, Huck Seed has been inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame, securing the most votes from the Hall of Fame members. Matt Savage was the second most voted, but only Huck will enter the Hall of Fame this time.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
