Poker Pro Tips: How to Convince Your Family That Poker Is Your Dream Job

Convincing your family that poker is your dream job can be challenging, but several players have shared their strategies for success. Anton Koté decided to try playing poker again after a year and succeeded in holding his bankroll for a year. He attributes his success to a well-thought-out strategy for preparing his family for his new endeavor.

Anton Koté's family includes his cat, wife, mother, and two children. He started by identifying his target audience and tailoring his approach to each family member. His cat supported him with purring and rubbing against him, while his children were excited about his new hobby. His wife, however, was more challenging to convince. He initially won her support by sharing his poker knowledge and encouraging her to learn the game.

Ivan Pobeda13 started playing poker in 2009-2010 and his mother was already playing poker before him. He did not face significant challenges in convincing his family about his poker endeavors because his mother was already involved in the game. Eugene Ocambl4 started playing poker as a hobby and later turned it into a significant source of income. He worked a regular job while playing poker on the side, which helped him avoid questions about his poker playing.
