Poker Community Raises Funds for Charities During Holiday Season
The poker community has come together for the 'All in por un mundo mejor' campaign, aiming to raise funds for four charities: Aspace, Ambessa, Poné Tu Ficha!, and Cañada Solar/Light Humanity.
Aspace Soria is dedicated to helping individuals with cerebral palsy and organizes an annual poker tournament to raise funds. Ambessa Etiopía supports children in Holeta, Ethiopia, providing basic needs and development projects. Poné Tu Ficha! assists those affected by the pandemic in Latin America, while Light Humanity works with the Cañada Real community to provide tools for generating solar energy.
The coaching auction, launched on Poker-Red's Twitter, features 73 players and companies offering 126 hours of coaching. René Lázaro, Pamela Balzano, Eloy Cabacas, and Miquel Riera are organizing the auction, with bids closing on December 29th. Additionally, PokerStars is hosting a charity tournament on December 28th, with all proceeds going to Aspace Soria. Miguel Teus is also organizing a 'subathon' on December 30th, extending the stream by an hour for every 100€ donated.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
