Pau Gasol at WPT, Isaac Haxton Wins SuperStar Showdown

Juan Navarrete will lead the EPT Madrid on March 14, 2012. The Spanish player will hold the top position in the classification when the main event resumes at 12:00 PM local time.

Daniel Negreanu won the first charity event of the WPT Foundation in Los Angeles. The event featured several poker professionals and celebrities, including Pau Gasol, who was present at the event.

Isaac Haxton won the SuperStar Showdown against Viktor Blom. Haxton turned around a significant advantage Blom had accumulated earlier. In the final hand, Haxton's 4-bet forced Blom to fold, securing Haxton a $5,000 win. Blom attempted to alleviate his frustration by playing cash games, where he lost over $200,000 to Alex Millar in a 1,500-hand match.
