Patrick Leonard Aims for $5 Million Profit in 2017 with New Poker Blog
Legendary poker tournament master Patrick Leonard has set an ambitious goal for 2017: earning $5 million in profit. He shares his strategies and challenges in a new blog on 2+2 titled “$5 million profit in 2017 – the best in the business.”
Leonard's goal is to have his players earn $5 million in 2017 and share their experiences, including successes and failures. He aims to create a platform on 2+2 where players can learn from each other. Leonard mentions challenges such as new formats, increasing rake, bots, scripts, and players leaving the fund.
Leonard's fund will donate $1 to the REG charity for each post in the blog thread until December 31, 2017. The fund will double the donation if the thread reaches 5,000 posts and will introduce penalties, which will be added to the charity donation. The fund will regularly post hands to keep the discussion going and occasionally offer access to materials or free individual training for quality posts. Leonard will answer any questions about backing.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
