Mikka Antonen Predicts Eight Eurovision Finalists Correctly

Mikka Antonen, a professional poker player and bettor, has made a name for himself in the world of gambling. He has written an autobiography titled Once a Gambler, which provides a unique insight into the world of gambling. The book covers various aspects of his life, including how he dropped out of school in his senior years, traveled the world, slept on park benches, earned $100,000 in a day, and became a professional with sponsorship contracts.

This week, the Eurovision Song Contest is taking place in Rotterdam. The event has garnered significant attention from both music lovers and bettors. The contest features two semifinals and a final. The first semifinal took place on May 18, with 20 participating countries. The jury and television viewers selected 10 finalists from these countries.

Before the first semifinal, Mikka Antonen attempted to predict which countries would make it to the final. He correctly predicted that Malta, Ukraine, Sweden, Norway, Russia, Cyprus, Lithuania, and Azerbaijan would advance. He also predicted that Romania, Belgium, or Israel would take the last spot in the final. However, Croatia, which he predicted to advance, did not make it to the final. The finalists also include Belgium and Israel. Mikka Antonen considers Italy the main favorite of the Eurovision Song Contest 2023, although he does not recommend betting on them at the current odds.

I've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
