Mike Matusow Eyes Bankrupt Poker Room Johnny Chan's 88 Social
Mike Matusow, a popular poker player from the USA, shared his ambitious plans in his podcast "The Mouthpiece". He revealed that he is considering buying the bankrupt poker room Johnny Chan's 88 Social, which went under after a partner's theft.
Johnny Chan's 88 Social went bankrupt after his partner stole all the funds from the poker room's accounts while Johnny Chan was participating in the WSOP 2021.
Mike Matusow is not the first to show interest in acquiring Johnny Chan's 88 Social. Douglas Polk and Chris Moneymaker have previously expressed their desire to buy the poker room.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
