Microgaming Poker Network Shutting Down After 16 Years
After 16 years of operation, Microgaming Poker Network (MPN) is closing down. The network will cease operations in the second or third quarter of 2020. MPN Poker Tour stage on Malta will take place as scheduled. RedStar Poker will not abandon poker as a product and will work on transitioning to another poker network.
Partypoker is running four major promotions for its Fast Forward poker variant until October 6. GG Network will limit cash game players to 4 tables starting October 1. PokerOk has added 12 new tournaments with guarantees in yuan, targeting Chinese players. PokerDom is running a two-week rake race with a prize pool of 5,000,000 rubles.
MPN has confiscated and returned around 1.1 million euros to players over the last three years.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
