Las Vegas High-Stakes Poker Moves to Aria Casino's Ivey Room
The high-stakes poker game in Las Vegas has moved from the Bobby's Room in the Bellagio casino to the Ivey Room in the Aria casino. This shift comes as a result of several factors, including the travel schedules of key players like Phil, Patrick, and Tom, the financial instability of Andy (Bill), and the advanced age of Doyle.
The game in the Ivey Room features seven different variations of poker, including Limit Hold'em, Omaha Hi-Lo, Stud, Stud Hi-Lo, Badugi, 2-7 Lowball with Triple Draw, and 2-7 No-Limit Lowball with One Draw. The regulars in the Ivey Room include notable players such as Phil Hellmuth, Todd Branson, Barry Greenstein, Brandon Cantu, Eli Elezra, and Sean Deib. Sean Deib often shares the outcomes of his sessions on Twitter.
The filming of the fifth season of Full Tilt Million Dollar Cash Game has begun. Ilari Sahamis, who has been playing a lot of poker recently, mentioned the start of the new season in his blog. He noted that he had won $1,500,000 and then lost nearly $800,000 to Cole South and Brian Hastings. Tom Dwan expressed his hopes for good luck in the new season via Twitter. The first day of filming included players such as Andrew Feldman, Peter 'Apathy123' Jettten, Mike Matuosov, Justin 'BoostedJ' Smith, Chris Ferguson, Tom 'durrrr' Dwan, Patrick Antonius, Ilari 'Ziigmund' Sahamis, and Phil Ivey. Andrew Feldman commented on the first day, saying, 'Vaу, only just finished 1st day Full Tilt Cash Game, and all I can say is Phil Ivey is goooood!' He also mentioned that David Benjamin and Annette Obrestad joined the game on the second day.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
