He took a break from WSOP in 2014 to watch the FIFA World Cup, but has since returned to the tournament circuit. Maslak primarily played hold'em during his WSOP appearances, but started playing mixed games after the 2014 WSOP.
Maslak's cash game limits range from $10/$20 to $40/$80. He mentioned playing against notable players such as Dylan Linde, Todd Brunson, Brandon Shack-Harris, and Sean Deib in the first day of the tournament. One of the most memorable hands for Maslak was against Slava Zhukov, where Zhukov folded with a pair of eights on the river.
In the fourth day of the tournament, Maslak recalled a key hand in Stud Hi-Lo where he won a large pot. Overall, Maslak's victory and performance in the WSOP highlight his talent and dedication to the game of poker.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
