German Poker Pro Julian Track Dies in Traffic Accident at 39
Julian Track, a prominent German poker player, has died in a traffic accident at the age of 39. Track was primarily an online player under the screen name 'jutrack.'
Track's most notable achievement was winning the 2013 European Poker Tour (EPT) Prague Main Event, earning €725,700 ($994,463). This victory was particularly impressive as Track lacked extensive live poker experience and faced strong competition at the final table, including players like Stephen Chidwick, Max Silver, and Ole Schemion.
Track's last live event cash was in 2015 at EPT Malta, where he finished 8th in the €1,100 IPT Main Event for €21,000 ($22,233). More recently, Track won an online event at PokerStars in December 2022, topping the field in the $530 Cooldown.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
