Jonathan Little: From Magic: The Gathering to Poker Prodigy
Jonathan Little is a two-time winner of the World Poker Tour (WPT). His journey began with playing Magic: The Gathering and online poker at the age of 18. Little started his poker career on the cheapest limit hold'em tables and built his bankroll to $20,000 in two years while working as a fueler for Pensacola Aviation.
Little transitioned to multi-table tournaments and became a professional player, dropping his job and studies. He registered on 2+2 and began playing $200 tournaments on Party Poker. In 2007, Little's biggest win was in the WPT Mirage Poker Showdown, where he earned $1,066,295. He was named WPT Player of the Year in 2007 after finishing second in the WPT North American Poker Championship.
Little is currently part of the professional team at Victory Poker and is the founder and main instructor at FloatTheTurn.com. He is also writing a book titled 'Secrets of Professional Tournament Poker.'

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
