Javier Rodríguez, known as javitxu6, achieves Cum Laude and makes waves in the poker world
Javier Rodríguez, known as javitxu6, has been a student at the school since March 2010. Recently, he achieved Cum Laude status, a significant milestone in his academic journey. Javier Rodríguez is a 23-year-old from Lugo, Spain, who studied Industrial Engineering with a specialization in Chemical Engineering.
Javier Rodríguez has been playing poker professionally for around two and a half years. He first encountered poker through a link on PokerStars during his second year of high school. Initially, he played cash games and tournaments but found the cash games boring and started playing Omaha Hi/Lo. This is where he built his first bankroll.
Javier Rodríguez joined EducaPoker and the Poker-Red forum, where he started playing Sit & Go (SNG) tournaments. He transitioned to playing Hypers after facing traffic issues with higher stakes SNGs. Javier Rodríguez met David Gómez, known as Antelillo, at the ESPT in Barcelona, who convinced him to switch to cash games.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
