Ivan Ruban's Unbelievable WSOP Online High Roller Mystery Bounty Sweep

In an astonishing display of skill and luck, Ivan Ruban, playing under the screen name StayGoldBaby, won a $1,000 buy-in High Roller Mystery Bounty event on WSOP Online. The event, part of the WSOP Online Championship series, had a total of 61 entries, including 25 re-entries, and a guaranteed prize pool of $50,000.

The Mystery Bounty phase began at Level 19, with 15 players remaining. Ruban not only won the tournament but also claimed all 14 bounties, earning $25,000 from bounties alone. His bounty earnings included $5,000, two $3,000, four $2,000, and seven additional prizes worth over $850 each. Ruban's total winnings amounted to $35,708.75, nearly 62% of the entire $57,950 prize pool.

Ruban's performance left the poker community in awe. Michael Bohermwald described Ruban's performance as one of the greatest tournament performances he's seen. Michael Gagliano, known online as Gags30, called Ruban's run insanely impressive and suggested that mystery bounties can produce unbalanced results.
