Ian Simpson Wins Third Live Title of 2025 at PokerStars Open Manchester

Ian Simpson, the 888poker ambassador, has won his third live title of 2025 by taking down the £2,200 High Roller title at PokerStars Open Manchester. This victory adds to his impressive streak this year, which includes wins at the 888poker LIVE Madrid Main Event in January and the UK Poker League (UKPL) Main Event in Newcastle in April.

Simpson outlasted a field of 106 entrants to collect £53,140 from a total prize pool of £233,200. His win at PokerStars Open Manchester follows a remarkable year that began with his triumph at the 888poker LIVE Madrid event, where he outlasted a field of 403 entries to take the €888 Main Event and its €62,000 first prize.

In addition to his major victories, Simpson also cashed in four Irish Poker Open events back in the spring and five World Series of Poker events over the summer. This standout year for the sponsored pro includes several notable achievements. Simpson's success has been marked by significant wins and consistent performances across various high-profile tournaments.
