Brazilian Poker Pro Hulk9950 Smashes Online Record with $960K Win
In a stunning display of skill and luck, Brazilian poker player Hulk9950 secured the largest online poker prize in Brazilian history. The player won an impressive $960,000 in the 12th anniversary of the Sunday Million tournament on PokerStars.
Hulk9950's victory was particularly notable because it surpassed the previous record set by Bernardo “Machadada RS” Rocha. Rocha's third-place finish in the WCOOP of 2017 earned him $848,015, but Hulk9950's win of $960,000 set a new benchmark for Brazilian online poker.
Bruno “botteonpoker” also had a strong showing in the tournament, finishing in 8th place and earning $108,596. This performance by Bruno “botteonpoker” added to the impressive results from Brazilian players in the Sunday Million tournament.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
