Howard Lederer Plays High-Stakes Poker at Bellagio and Aria
Howard Lederer, who earned over $40 million in dividends from Full Tilt, played a high-stakes poker game at Bobby's Room in Bellagio. His opponents included Eli Elezra, Doyle Brunson, and Nick Schulman. The minimum buy-in for the game was $20,000.
Lederer also played $400/800 Mix at Aria with Nick Schulman, David Oppenheim, Huck Seed, Chau Giang, and Doyle Brunson. Security was tightened at both casinos, with Aria threatening to ban anyone who posted a photo of Lederer online.
Tom Dwan, a former member of the Full Tilt professional team, mentioned he enjoys playing in Cannes and plans to change his online account address to Macau. Dwan plans to play online poker again after nearly a year and a half of absence. Full Tilt Poker announced that real money online poker will not be available in the U.S. until it is permissible under relevant law. Full Tilt Poker players in the U.S. will only have access to play chip games following the re-launch. Full Tilt Points balance will remain intact in players' accounts.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
