HendonMob to Display Online Poker Tournament Results
HendonMob, a site dedicated to tracking statistical data of live poker tournaments and the prize money won by poker players, has announced that it will now display results of online poker tournaments. This move comes as a response to the shift of major poker series, such as the World Poker Tour (WPT) and the World Series of Poker (WSOP), to online platforms due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
With the transition of live poker tournaments to online formats, HendonMob has decided to publish results of online tournaments where players use their real names. This decision addresses the challenge of tracking online poker results, as participants often use nicknames instead of real names and surnames. Some poker rooms, like GGpokerok during the WSOP Online series, use nicknames until the final table but display all prize winners with real names. On the other hand, during the WPT Online series on PartyPoker, players use their real names from the start of the event.
HendonMob has clarified that results from online events will not count towards the overall prize money and will not be included in Global Poker Index (GPI) points calculations. For instance, Daniel Negreanu's online results are marked with a blue icon on the HendonMob site to distinguish them from live tournament results.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
