Gipsy Shares Insights from His Poker Journey in New Collection

Gipsy, a prominent figure in the poker community, has released the first part of his collected works, offering a glimpse into his experiences and thoughts on the game. The collection includes posts from 2009 to 2014, covering various poker-related topics and personal anecdotes.

Gipsy, along with Vanja and Lika, enjoyed a trip to Kyiv where they stayed in a hotel known for hosting celebrities. The trip was not only enjoyable but also profitable, as Vanja secured second place in a side event. The group's stay in the hotel, which is frequented by stars like Alla Pugacheva and Philipp Kirkorov, added to the excitement of their visit. Their interviews and the tournament were featured in a local TV report, highlighting the attention they received.

Gipsy and Kolya Losev encountered a young player, Evgeny Timoshenko, during a side event in Paris. The young player, who was new to live tournaments, approached Gipsy later and asked for a loan to play cash games. This encounter highlighted the importance of etiquette and respect in the poker community, a theme that Gipsy often emphasizes in his writings. He also shared his thoughts on the behavior of young top players, encouraging them to be mindful of their actions and the impact they have on others.
