Gas Hansen: Why Live Poker is My Game, Online Poker Isn't
Poker legend Gas Hansen has recently become more active on social media, particularly Instagram, where he shares content about his poker adventures. After a period of focusing on activities unrelated to poker while living in Denmark and Monaco, Hansen has returned to the poker scene with a renewed interest in live games.
Hansen plans to spend two months in Las Vegas, where he will be playing cash games and participating in a few tournaments. He has a particular fondness for mixed games, including Stud Hi-Lo, Omaha Hi-Lo, 2-7 Triple Draw, and Badugi, which he has been playing in Bobby’s room with notable success.
Despite his past struggles with online poker, which he describes as merely 'pressing buttons' and not enjoying, Hansen has found his comfort zone in live games. He appreciates the ability to read his opponents' emotions and the overall dynamic of live poker, which he finds far superior to the online experience.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
