Foxwoods Casino Aims for Guinness Record with Massive Bingo Payout
Foxwoods Casino is celebrating 40 years of offering high-stakes bingo with a session of “Firecracker Bingo” on July 4. The event features more than $1 million in cash and prizes, including a $440,000 single cash jackpot. The casino is attempting to set a Guinness World Record for the largest bingo payout.
Foxwoods began as a high-stakes bingo hall in 1986, owned and operated by the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation. The casino still operates one of the largest bingo halls in the US, with more than 2,000 seats.
An official Guinness representative will be on hand to certify if the attempt at a record is successful.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
