Douglas Polk Shares Poker Insights on Reddit

Poker professional Douglas Polk recently engaged in a detailed discussion on Reddit's Acesup forum, offering insights into poker strategy and promoting his new educational site, Upswing Poker. Polk, along with his partner Ryan Fee, launched Upswing Poker with the goal of providing structured, step-by-step learning experiences for poker players.

During the Reddit session, Polk addressed a specific poker hand involving A2, providing detailed advice on the best strategy for playing it. He emphasized the importance of considering the entire range of hands and not just the specific hand in question. Polk suggested that players should focus on the value of different hands in various situations and adjust their strategy accordingly.

Polk and Fee plan to make these strategy discussions a weekly feature on the Acesup forum, aiming to help players improve their skills through structured learning and community engagement. Their approach at Upswing Poker includes a variety of resources, such as free starting hand charts, the Postflop Engine, and a comprehensive training course called the Lab, which includes access to a private poker group on Facebook.
