Daniel Negreanu Wins Super High Roller Bowl VII for $3.3M
Daniel Negreanu has secured his first-ever 6-figure buy-in victory by winning the Super High Roller Bowl VII, taking home an impressive $3,312,000.
The tournament, held in the PokerGO studios at the Aria, featured a $300,000 buy-in and attracted 24 entries, resulting in a substantial $7.2 million prize pool. The event saw some of the biggest names in poker compete, with notable players like Dan Smith, Bryn Kenney, Ben Tollerene, Jason Koon, Cary Katz, Mikita Badziakouski, and Alex Foxen being eliminated before the money.
On day 3, the remaining five players included Justin Bonomo, Orpen Kisacikoglu, Andrew Lichtenberger, Nick Petrangelo, and Daniel Negreanu. Orpen Kisacikoglu was the first to be eliminated, followed by Justin Bonomo, who secured $720,000 for his fourth-place finish. Andrew Lichtenberger finished in third place, earning $1,152,000, after running his short stack into a dominating hand held by Negreanu. The heads-up battle between Negreanu and Petrangelo saw the latter double-up to survive, but Negreanu eventually ground him back down and finished him off in the following hand, securing the victory and the top prize.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
