Daniel Dvoress kicked off the 2026 Triton Super High Roller Series Montenegro in style. The Canadian took down the first event of the festival, which is sponsored by CoinPoker, to earn $849,000 and his fourth trident trophy. On the penultimate day of the series, the 37-year-old poker professional emerged victorious yet again. Just 11 days after winning the $25,000 no-limit hold’em opener, Dvoress triumphed in the $100,000 pot-limit Omaha main event to earn $2,018,000 and his fifth Triton title.
The six-figure buy-in pot-limit Omaha event drew 76 entries to the Maestral Resort & Casino. The $7,600,000 prize pool was split amongst the top 13 finishers. Tom Vogelsang was the last player to hit the rail empty-handed in this tournament. Igor Yaroshevskyy, Danny Tang, Cesar Garcia, Artur Martirosian, Matthias Eibinger, and Sean Rafael were all eliminated before the final table. Robert Cowen was eliminated in seventh place. Laszlo Bujtas was eliminated in sixth place. Michael Watson was eliminated in fifth place. Patrik Antonius was eliminated in fourth place. Martin Dam was eliminated in third place. Manuel Stojanovic finished in second place.
Dvoress is now Canada’s all-time money leader, with more than a $1.1 million lead over second-ranked Daniel Negreanu. Dvoress moved into tenth place on poker’s all-time money list. This win grew Dvoress’ career earnings to $58,067,434.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
