Dan Colman: From Poker Prodigy to Life in Brazil
Dan Colman, known as mrGR33N13, was a guest on Joe Ingram's podcast Poker Life. Dan Colman won 165 major tournaments in 2014. He has not played poker since 2015, and currently lives in Brazil.
Dan Colman started playing poker at the age of 16. His first major poker win was in the One Drop tournament. He achieved the Supernova Elite status twice, first in 2013 and then in 2014.
During the podcast, Dan Colman discussed his approach to poker. He mentioned that he never had a trainer and did not watch videos or work on his game outside of the table. He relied on his memory to understand his opponents' playstyles and analyze his mistakes.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
