Bryn Kenney Wins $1.9M in King Poker Cup High Roller in Korea
Bryn Kenney, the all-time tournament money leader, won the King Poker Cup $100k High Roller in Jeju, South Korea. Kenney defeated Jesse Lonis in a heads-up battle to secure the victory. The $100,000 buy-in event saw 71 entrants and a prize pool of $6,674,000.
Kenney's win adds $1,954,000 to his total recorded tournament earnings, bringing his total to over $92 million. This victory puts Kenney more than $12 million ahead of Stephen Chidwick, the closest player on the all-time money list. Tom Dwan made his first recorded tournament cash in over two years, finishing in sixth place with a payout of $350,000.
Elton Tsang, who won $12,188,889 in the 2016 Big One for One Drop Invitational, finished in third place. David Miscikowski finished in seventh place with a payout of $280,000. Jesse Lonis carried a sizable chip lead into the final table, with nearly twice as many chips as Tom Dwan.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
