Bryan Pelligrino's AI Helped Douglas Polk Prepare for Poker Duel
Bryan Pelligrino, known as PrimordialAA, was one of the best heads-up SNG players before the Black Friday. In 2015, he left poker to focus on programming and artificial intelligence.
Pelligrino's AI technology, which uses a method called minimization of hypothetical losses, has been applied to various fields outside of poker, such as autonomous driving and pharmaceuticals.
Pelligrino helped Douglas Polk prepare for his poker duel with Daniel Negreanu. The technology can optimize pre-flop ranges and sizings in poker, conducting complex calculations quickly and efficiently. Pelligrino and Noam Brown co-authored a paper on creating an ideal poker bot using AI and GTO, demonstrating the potential of their technology.
