Babushkaludomanka: From Jeweler to Poker Streamer – Her Unusual Journey
Babushkaludomanka, whose real name is Olga Borisovna, gained popularity on a Russian poker streaming platform. Olga first learned about poker from watching a TV broadcast of EPT or WSOP hosted by Ilya Gorodecky. She started playing poker on PokerStars, initially on play money, and later transitioned to real money games.
Olga's family members also play various games, and they occasionally have poker nights at home. Before poker, Olga was involved in sports like athletics and swimming, and later worked as a jeweler. She worked as a dog handler for a meat processing plant and later became a professional photographer.
Olga started her own magazine called 'Sobaka i ya' (Dog and I), which she ran for five years. Olga plays poker for the adrenaline rush and the emotional high, not primarily for the money.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
