Artur Martirosyan Shares Insights and Advice from EPT Sochi

Russian high roller Artur Martirosyan has had an impressive year in online poker. However, when the EPT Sochi 2020 series was announced at Casino Sochi, Martirosyan decided to transition his success to offline tournaments. Unfortunately, he did not make it to the prize pool of the Main Event, exiting before the bubble. Despite this, Martirosyan shared his thoughts on the series and his love for live poker.

Martirosyan advised beginner poker players to fully immerse themselves in the game. He suggested that players should think only about poker and try to eliminate other distractions from their lives. According to Martirosyan, if players dedicate themselves to poker for six months, they will likely break their limit. He also highlighted the importance of continuous learning and practical reinforcement, stating that information is assimilated more quickly this way.

Martirosyan mentioned that he currently plays more for enjoyment than for improvement. He also discussed the benefits of meditative practices, which he finds challenging. Looking ahead, Martirosyan is set to participate in the high roller tournament of the EPT Sochi series, where he hopes to achieve better results.
