Andrey Zaichenko: From Poker Player to Investment Fund Manager
Andrey Zaichenko, a well-known poker player, recently won third place in the Sunday Brawl tournament. He played in a tight-aggressive style, which helped him navigate through the tournament successfully.
In addition to his tournament success, Zaichenko announced the launch of a new investment fund called IC Fond. The fund is managed by Zaichenko himself, with assistance from Kirill 'kir' Sidorov and Sergey 'crisp' Petrov. The fund aims to invest in both online and offline poker tournaments, with a focus on the Russian market.
Zaichenko believes his expertise in the Russian poker market will give the fund a competitive advantage. He stated, "I very well know all the best Russian-speaking players both in personal and professional terms, and I am convinced that I will be able to find many profitable investment options for our investors." The fund has already purchased stakes in tournaments for players like Konstantin Puchkov, Sergey Rybachenko, Ilya Gorodetsky, and Roman 'romeopro' Romanovsky.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
